ADELAIDE CANOE CLUB is a community club run by volunteers for people sharing their
passion for kayaks, canoes, paddling, and exploring our unique and beautiful waterways. The
Club offers activities for members such as introductory events on Adelaide’s lakes and
reservoirs, regular fun and fitness paddles on West Lakes or the local coastline, skill
development and safety sessions at all levels, overnight camping trips to the Coorong, River

If you are interested in long distance paddling for recreation, exploration or competition then the Marathon Canoe Club of SA is the club for you.
The main function of the Marathon Canoe Club of South Australia is to organise the Riverland Paddling Marathon (RPM). However the club has a number of important secondary goals including –

Holdfast Bay Canoe Club is a dynamic growing club. We cater for all age ranges and abilities. Member enjoy good safe paddle conditions which are close to city. Members can store their boats or use club equipment all stored next to the water. The club is focused on three strong squads. The Junior Development Squad for younger paddlers, the Seniors Squad and Fun and the Fun and Fitness Squad for older paddlers. All squads have designated experienced coaches and support members

Encounter Paddling currently operates from the Encounter Lakes recreational reserve called Cliff Thorpe Reserve. The reserve is located on Bartel Boulevard at Encounter Bay, South Australia. The borrowed kayaks are stored in a locked shed adjacent to the Boulevard Shop and are launched from the beach at Cliff Thorpe reserve. There are toilets at the reserve and adequate parking adjacent to the storage facility.
