Paddle SA Board Application

Paddle SA Paddling South Australia Recreation, Sport and Training

Paddle SA is seeking volunteer Directors with appropriate skills and experience to join its professional and collaborative Board. Applicants with expertise in legal and governance fields will be especially well-regarded.
Whilst an association with Paddle is desirable, we would welcome applications from anyone interested in supporting not-for-profit and sporting organisations in general. We are happy to consider persons looking to commence their board career.
Your commitment will include monthly meetings held on Monday evenings at our head office in West Lakes (or via Zoom), as well as taking on a Board portfolio in line with your expertise (requiring on average a few hours per month in providing advice/assistance to
management).

ABOUT PADDLE SA
Paddle SA is affiliated with the National Sporting Organisation (NSO) Paddle Australia, and is recognised by the Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing as the peak body responsible for all canoe and kayak activities throughout South Australia.
Sprint canoe and kayak are Olympic disciplines, so whilst a primary focus of our organisation is the management and development of the sport in the areas of competition and High Performance, our strategic charter also places a strong emphasis on promoting and
supporting recreational paddling.
Paddle SA actively endorses and promotes gender equity in all aspects of its operations.
