National Events Calendar
Australia’s 2025–26 paddling season highlights include the Canoe Sprint Nationals in WA and the Canoe Marathon Nationals in Canberra, with key events offering athletes the chance to qualify for the Australian team.
2025–26 South Australian Sprint Season Kicks Off
The 2025–26 South Australian sprint season features five key regattas from October to January, culminating in the Paddle SA State Championships at the Ramsay Regatta Course on 24 January.
Paddle SA Winter Long Distance Series
24-May – West Lakes Classic- postponed. Revised date TBA
22-Jun – Baudin Flinders at Encounter Paddling
20 July Trevor Gallard Memorial Marathon incorporating state singles champs at Encounter
17-Aug – Onkaparinga CC River Race

2025 Paddle SA Canoe Sprint State Championships
Event Date: Saturday, January 25th, 2025.
Conditions: Near perfect with light winds and slightly overcast skies.
Racing: Competitive with close finishes and good times posted.

Paddle Australia Qualification Scheme
Paddle SA is the sole South Australian National Training Provider (NTP) for the Paddle Australia Qualification Scheme (PAQS), which is the national benchmark for paddling education and quality assurance.
